This Cookie Policy explains how Angler Gaming plc (“Angler Gaming”, “we”) uses cookies and similar storage on this website (“the Website”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies that are essential to provide a service you have asked for do not require consent. Any other cookie — for example analytics or advertising — may only be set with your prior, informed consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
COOKIES WE USE
The Website is a static information site. We currently use a single, strictly-necessary cookie:
- ag_consent — a first-party cookie that records your cookie choices so we don’t ask again on every page. It contains only your preferences and a timestamp, performs no tracking, and expires after about six months. Because it exists solely to remember your choice, it does not itself require consent.
No other cookies are set when you browse the Website. The separate content-management area at /admin uses your browser’s local storage only to keep a signed-in editor authenticated; it is used by site administrators, not by visitors, and sets no tracking.
ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING AND THIRD PARTIES
We do not currently use analytics, performance, advertising, or social-media cookies, and we do not embed third-party content that sets such cookies.
If we introduce analytics in the future it will be strictly opt-in: nothing non-essential will load unless you choose “Accept all”, or enable that category under “Customise”, in the cookie banner. Until then there is nothing non-essential to accept.
YOUR CHOICES
When you first visit the Website you are asked to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or customise your choice by category. Strictly-necessary storage is always on because the site cannot function without it.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not stop you from using the Website, though we will ask for your cookie choice again.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Website or the law. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will ask for your consent again.
